About Us:
The Department of Zoology in Dukhulal Nibraran Chandra College was opened in 2011. There was an intellectual interest among the students for opening the honours course in Zoology, which fortunately leads towards the inception of both the honours and general courses in Zoology. The courses are being run by experienced and efficient faculty members who teach the students not only the formal syllabus, but also the taste of the biological complexities of the faunal components of nature making learning a joy. The students are also encouraged to participate in different outreach activities.
