We can organize small workshops in our locality to teach local peoples how to handle biodegradable and nonbiodegradable waste, how to detect toxic food-contaminant. So, we can say that knowledge of Chemistry is essential for meeting our basic needs of food, clothing, shelter, health, energy and clean air, water and soil.
